Volunteering Opportunities
The purpose of the grassroots coalitions is to target individual issues that will improve voter registration, turnout and the overall brand of the York County Republican Committee. Grassroots coalitions will be assigned coalition leaders to be the contact for specific events. Volunteers will also be recruited based on their preferences. These coalitions will have targeted messages and materials must be approved through the York County Republican Committee. Members of the coalitions do not have to be committee members in order to be a coalition member.
Sportsman Coalition / 2nd Amendment
Members of the sportsman coalition will be in charge of registering voters, increasing voter turnout, and explaining related issues to constituents in regards to legislative impacts and candidate stances. These initiatives will be accomplished by various activities, including but not limited to involvement at the local sportsmen shows, sportsmen shops and sportsmen clubs.
Veteran Coalition
Members of the veteran coalition will be in charge of registering voters, increasing voter turnout, and explaining related issues to constituents in regards to legislative impacts and candidate stances. Members should be active in the military or veterans within the community to improve the impact that the members will have. These initiatives will be accomplished by various activities, including but not limited to involvement at the local VFW'S, American legions and related establishments.
Faith Coalition
Members of the faith coalition will be in charge of increasing voter registration, increasing turnout and distributing materials within places of worship. The coalition should not focus on one particular issue or belief. The purpose is to educate voters of faith on the Republican Committee, candidates and the importance of voting.
Senior Coalition
Members of the senior coalition will be in charge of voter registration, absentee voting, dispersing literature and Election Day arrangements for the local senior living communities in York County. Members should identify registered Republicans within the communities and assign a coordinator who lives within the facility to be a key contact in political endeavors.
Service Coalition
Members of the service committee will be in charge of organizing service activities across the county to increase voter registration and turnout. Activities may include but are not limited to clean up activities and partnerships with nonprofit organizations that benefit the York County communities.
Local Elections Coalition
Members of the recruiting coalition should actively engage members in their community for the purposes of recruiting Republicans to run for municipal and school board elections during off year elections. The members can also assist in recruiting committee members and volunteers for the York County Republican Committee.
Women Coalition
Members of the Women Coalition are an important voting block for all Conservatives and Republicans. Members will be working towards educating, elevating, and involving more women in the York County Political arena. Activities my include organizing voter registrations, events, and activities around York County Community.
